It also seems that the Sword & Shield story arc is going to promote the upcoming Crown Tundra DLC for the video games, as the latest poster for the anime shows Mewtwo, Mew, Suicune, and Zapdos. The Crown Tundra volition be bringing back Legendary Pokémon from the earlier entries in the series, so it makes sense that more of them would appear in the Sword & Shield arc.

The changes to the Pokémon format have been well-received among fans around the earth, even if information technology seems that Ash is being retired every bit the protagonist of the series.
